Dear Adrienne, I saw someone on TikTok say there are signs to show someone is enlightened, and one major one is if a person’s eyes shimmer. It’s all in their eyes—because if their eyes shine no matter what they go through in life, then that’s how we can know for sure. She said this is her experience. Dear Adrienne, I do agree with you to not surrender to others as being anything higher than ourselves. But in the end, the expansion of the heart can come from true devotion, and it has great value. Can’t we look at these spiritual leaders as tools for us to experience our own divine nature? That real teachers actually work to lift others up and is done not for money, fame nor acclaim, but to lead to the expansion of collective consciousness. This is the only way to know who the real ones...

The chant of “my team” is so much better than “your team” is the norm on social media and in many circles. But, I ask you this, isn’t it presumptuous to think we can know what’s best for someone else in this highly personal journey of a soul?
